At Feed The Children, our pledge to you is to be effective in our outreach to those in need by being good stewards of the funds entrusted to us. We are audited yearly, and the information below is summarised from the consolidated financial statement.
 

DISTRIBUTION PERCENTAGES

 

During FY 2009, Feed The Children US committed $1,169,549,928 to program services.  The percentage breakdown of expenditures is as follows:

  • Program Services (childcare, food, medical, disaster relief, and community development): 92%
  • Fundraising: 5%
  • Management and Supporting Services: 3%
  • Total: 100%

 

Feed The Children is audited by the accounting firm, McGladrey & Pullen, LLP.  Financial data presented here is summarized from the consolidated financial statements of Feed The Children, Inc. for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009. Contributions to Feed The Children are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

ABN AND TAX STATUS

Feed the Children Australia is a Public Benevolent Institution listed with the Australia Tax Office. As a result we qualify for Deductible Gift Recipient Status which means all donations greater than two dollars in value can be used for tax deduction purposes.
